PURIM DETROIT
5785 was an amazing Year! 5 Shuls collaborated on a wonderful three location two day event.

What A Success!!
With over one thousand participants over two days and three venues, this was truly a Purim for the books. The Carnival brought smiles and laughter, the Megillah readings brought on the expected ruckus of gragger noise, and breakfast was quite delicious. See below for photos from the event!

Purim Shpiel and Carnival
A spectacular shpiel featuring actors from all five shuls! Enjoy games, raffles, bounce houses, photo booth, carnival snacks, adult cocktails, and so much more. Food is available for purchase. Fun for all ages awaits!

Megillah and Afterglow
Sweets, coffee, music, and more will follow the reading of the story of Esther. Our “Night at the Movies” will include drawings for theater tickets. Maybe your lot will be drawn this Purim!

Megillah and Breakfast
A traditional Megillah reading will be led by Saul A. Rube, honoring his father, Cantor Sidney Rube (z'l). A beautiful breakfast will follow the Megillah reading!
